How to Serve Corpdirect in California
Need Corpdirect served? $49 corridor drops at 330 N Brand, next business day, guaranteed.
Start the Serve →Corpdirect is the name on the agent line that sends people to Google and back with nothing. The answer is the Glendale window, provided you have the right Corpdirect.
Corpdirect (CorpDirect Agents, Inc.) is the fifth Wolters Kluwer registered agent at 330 N Brand Blvd, Suite 700, Glendale, CA 91203. Wolters Kluwer's 2021 relocation notice, when it moved its California service-of-process office from downtown Los Angeles to Glendale, lists five entities taking service at the new suite: CT Corporation System, Vcorp Agent Services, NRAI, BFI (Business Filings Incorporated) and Corpdirect. The window runs weekdays 7:00am to 1:00pm and the counter mechanics are the ones described in the CT Corporation guide. Of the five, Corpdirect is the one with the thinnest public footprint, which is the whole reason this page exists.
Two companies, one word
Search the name and the first results are for Corporate Direct, a Nevada company that sells entity formation and registered-agent packages nationally. It is not Corpdirect and it is not at 330 N Brand. A serve dispatched to the wrong company's address is a wasted trip at best and, if someone at the wrong office signs for it, a proof of service that names an agent your defendant never designated. Read the agent line on bizfile character by character: CorpDirect Agents, Inc. is the Wolters Kluwer entity.
Verify before you drive
This is the honest caveat. We have served CT Corporation, NRAI and Vcorp designations at Suite 700 and confirmed each against the defendant's Secretary of State record on the day of the serve. Corpdirect we know from Wolters Kluwer's notice and the shared roster, not yet from a serve of our own. So the instruction is the one we follow on every corridor job regardless of brand: pull the defendant on bizfile that morning, read the agent name and the agent address exactly as filed, and serve what the record says. If the record's address for Corpdirect is anything other than 330 N Brand, Suite 700, the record wins over this page.
The section 1505 roster
Corpdirect is a corporation acting as an agent, so Corporations Code section 1505 requires a certificate on file with the Secretary of State listing the employees authorized to accept service. Delivery to a person on that current roster at the designated office completes personal service on the defendant under Code of Civil Procedure section 416.10. The Wolters Kluwer agents at the window share staff, so the employee who accepts may be one you have seen on a CT Corporation proof; the entity named on your proof is what has to match the registration. We record the accepting employee's name and title and photograph the delivery with a GPS and time stamp.
What every Corpdirect drop includes
We pull the defendant's record on bizfile the day of dispatch and carry the agent's exact registry name into the field. We arrive at Suite 700 inside the weekday window with one copy set per defendant; the counter logs the case and an authorized employee on the agent's roster accepts. Service is personal and complete on delivery under Code of Civil Procedure section 416.10: no prior attempts, since attempt counts belong to substituted service on individuals, and no 10-day mailing tail. Our proof names the agent entity exactly as bizfile spells it and the accepting employee by name and title, on the right form for your case, with a GPS- and time-stamped photo of the delivery.
The 1:00pm close is the agent's business practice, not law, and it is firm. We run the Glendale registered-agent corridor from about ten minutes away and plan arrivals before 12:30pm, which is why corridor drops carry a next-business-day guarantee: documents in today are at the counter inside tomorrow's window.
